- 3 / 5By Ken SSo many good reviews, I must have gone at the wrong time during the wrong day because I found the pulled pork to be very dry. Soaking it in bbq sauce was the only way I could get it down without choking. The cole slaw appeared to be chopped cabbage mixed with salad dressing, maybe? Very odd and tasteless. Because the owner seemed to be a nice guy and the corn on the cob was very good, I feel the 3 stars I'm giving is generous. Look for the Jack Daniels pulled pork in your local grocery store. It's much better and probably cost a little less per pound. No doubt the cole slaw in their deli would be better as well. Sorry, Hickory Stump.November 27, 2016
